Back in the fall of 2015, I was invited to live tweet the Thomas Henry Made show from backstage at Toronto Men’s Fashion Week. Let’s just say that it didn’t take long for designer and lawyer Tom Caldwell’s custom line of suits and shirts to impress me.
Drawing inspiration from the south of France, Caldwell drenched his pitch-perfect European silhouettes in shades of azure blue, sand and terra cotta for a wonderfully versatile collection aimed at Bay Street’s most stylish set. Elegant details (those buttons, that stitching!) and rich fabrics sealed the deal.
It is with great pleasure that I can reveal that Thomas Henry Made has opened an outpost in Toronto’s trendy Liberty Village district, sharing a space with men’s clothier Love & Greed (1205 Queen St. W.).
Watch the video above to check out the location’s soft launch and get a feel for the suitmaker’s digs.
